As I have always enjoyed working with people, I had previously worked in Independent Living Skills, working with individuals with mental disabilities. After my time there, I knew I wanted to do more. I got to assist in the full construction and opening process at Oakmont Senior Living in Folsom, California as a Marketing Assistant and Lead Concierge. After moving to Colorado, I knew I really wanted to finish school. I am currently finishing up my Bachelors of Science in Psychology with a concentration of Organizational Behavior at Colorado Technical University.
I am from, I like to say, two places. Sacramento, California and Slidell, Louisiana. Hurricane Katrina is what brought me back to California where I, then, met my husband. I am a wife and mother of two loving boys at ages 1 and 5 years old and my German Shepard mix 5-year- old dog. In my free time, if there is an opportunity amongst mom duties, I like camping, riding motorcycles with my husband, yoga, and reading. In moving to Colorado, we became members of the Rocky Mountain Nova club, which is a lot of fun. Occasionally, I enjoy travelling, but can rarely find time to do so…for now.
